The Chamber's annual tradition contines with the naming of the 2010 Citizen of The Year.  This year the honor goes to Doug Long, superintendent with the Kelsey School Division.  Doug has served as Captain with the local air cadets for many years and served for over 10 years on The Pas Health Complex board, including three years as chairperson.  Doug has also been honored by The Pas & District Rotary Club  earning their Paul Harris Fellowship award.

Also being honored during the gala dinner on Sat. Oct. 30th is Youth of The Year, Michael Geswin, just seven years old and Business of The Year, The Kikiwak Inn.

Michael is well known in the community for his efforts to raise money both locally and internationally for World Vision, the relief effort in Haiti and The Pas Humane Society.

The Kikiwak Inn has become known as one of the premier places to stay when visiting our region and is a familiar landmark on the landscape of OCN.
