Throughout the year The Pas & District Chamber of Commerce host a variety of special events.

  • Annual Citizen of the Year  ( 4 items )

    The Chamber celebrated it’s first annual “Citizen of the Year” Award on September 18th, 2004 at the Wescana Inn.

    The Chamber of Commerce will have a perpetual plaque installed at the Chamber office which will record all the winners of this prestigious award for years to come.


    (It should be noted that in 1995, Clarence Morrish was named “Citizen of the Year”. That award was sponsored by the Town of The Pas and the local radio station, CJ1240 but it was decided that Mr. Morrish should be acknowledged on the Chamber’s perpetual plaque to ensure that his name also goes down in local history as an outstanding citizen of our community!)

    Even if you can't commit to a board position, why not just join us for dinner!

    Feel free to participate in any way or just listen in
    Help provide direction for next year's agenda!

    After all, it is your Chamber of Commerce, supported by your membership dollars and operated by your fellow local business owners and managers.

    he Pas and District Chamber of Commerce wishes to invite you to participate in our ANNUAL TRADE SHOW & SALE.

    The show provides an excellent venue to advertise your products or services and to meet existing and potential customers face to face. Every year, the show attracts between 2,500 to 3,000 visitors. The show is open to current members of The Pas & District Chamber of Commerce. If you are not a member , and would like to be an exhibitor at the show, please complete and forward the membership application and appropriate remittance to the address provided within the following pdf file

    RADIO SPOTS:
    Your fee includes one 30 second radio spot with additional advertising available at drastically reduced rates. Please contact the Station Manager at CJ-1240 The Pas, at 623-5307 for more details.

    MARKETING OPPORTUNITY:
    In order to further improve public attendance and increase public enthusiasm, we strongly encourage you to offer a varied special (or specials), each day that the Show is open to the public. Ensure these specials are advertised through the vehicles offered.

    PRODUCT LIMITATIONS:
    We have always endeavored to have a wide variety of products at our show, however, exhibitors may be limited to specific products to avoid excessive product duplication at the show. This will be determined on a first come first served basis. When submitting your application, please provide a sufficiently detailed description of your product line.
